We are the Heitkamp & Thumann Group: a family-owned company from Germany with production sites in Europe, North America and Asia. As a team, 1,700 employees work together worldwide in 15 medium-sized companies from nine countries. In fact, four companies of the H&T Group are located at the Marsberg site. We develop and produce first-class precision-molded components from metal and plastic ourselves. For example: Cups for well-tried household batteries and battery packaging for state-of-the-art electric vehicles. From the very beginning, we support you in developing your talent. During your apprenticeship or internship, you will actively participate in the day-to-day business, take on responsible tasks and be supervised by experienced trainers and colleagues.
Your dutiesAs a plastics and rubber technologist...
you produce semi-finished products, molded parts, components, or multi-layer rubber parts from materials (various types of plastics) by operating or controlling machines and production systems.
You have the task of starting up the plants for the production of plastic articles and setting up the corresponding production machines and adjusting them for the raw materials to be processed.
Your tasks also include monitoring the production process and correcting the set parameters if necessary.
Interest in plastics processing, technology and natural sciences
Diligence (e.g. for the precise, true-to-size production of workpieces)
Dexterity and eye-hand coordination (e.g. when sawing, milling, filing and producing molded parts)
Craftsmanship and technical understanding (e.g. when maintaining machines and production equipment)
Minimum requirement is a good secondary school leaving certificate
Good academic performance in math and physicslls
fluent German language skills

Training allowance per month:
1st year of training: 1.087,64 €
2nd year of training: 1.141,78 €
3rd year of training: 1.222,24 €
