Job summary

Loh Services is offering an apprenticeship starting on 1st September 2027 for those interested in plastic product manufacturing. You will plan the production of plastic parts, select raw materials, and maintain machines while ensuring quality control.

The program offers insights into various departments with opportunities for further training and a chance for permanent employment after training. Candidates should have a solid secondary education, interest in natural sciences, and B2-level German skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan the manufacturing of plastic parts based on order data and technical drawings.
• Select suitable raw materials for planned production.
• Set up injection moulding machines and perform maintenance.
• Conduct quality control and assurance.
• Learn various measuring and testing methods.

Job description

You are interested in the way plastic products are manufactured, good in chemistry and ready to work with attention to detail ... then join the Friedhelm Loh Group to start your apprenticeship on 1st September 2027.

Tasks

• You plan the manufacturing of plastic parts based on order data and technical drawings
• You apply your knowledge about the properties of different materials to select suitable raw materials for the planned production
• Setting up the injection moulding machines and machine maintenance and repairs are further elements of your task portfolio, alongside quality control and assurance and any reworking which may be necessary
• You learn to use a variety of measuring and testing methods

Profile

• Good basic secondary school results ("Hauptschulabschluss") or intermediate school‑leaving certificate ("mittlere Reife")
• Interest in the natural sciences, especially chemistry
• German language skills (B2 level)
• Good technical understanding and manual craft skills
• Exact, meticulous and reliable approach to work
• Team‑minded and flexible
