Job summary

Velocity Vehicle Group in Kentucky is seeking an Apprentice Technician to support the truck service department. You will perform oil changes, DPF cleaning, brake inspections, and general maintenance while organizing tools and keeping a clean, safe work area.

You’ll shadow experienced master techs, receive ample training opportunities, and regularly update the Foreman on progress. This full-time role offers competitive pay ($18–$21/hour) and a comprehensive benefits package, plus opportunities

Qualifications

• Completion of a technician training course or equivalent work knowledge.
• High school diploma or the equivalent preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Positive attitude.
• Motivated.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes.
• Perform diesel particulate filter cleaning.
• Perform brake inspections and brake work.
• General maintenance of the service department and work area.
• Organize toolboxes and maintain clean, safe workstations.
• Communicate daily progress to Foreman.
