Job summary

Grand Lake Plumbing & Heating in Grand Lake, Colorado, is seeking an Apprentice Technician to learn the plumbing and heating trade from the ground up. You’ll be mentored by experienced technicians, gaining hands-on experience in soldering, pipe work, fixture installation, and system diagnostics while supporting service and install teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior hands-on experience with plumbing or mechanical work is a plus, but not required.
• Must be willing to obtain your own basic hand tools within 90 days of starting
• Valid Colorado driver's license required

Responsibilities

• Assist with plumbing and heating repairs, installations, and diagnostics
• Learn soldering, pipe threading, drain cleaning, fixture installation, and gas leak testing
• Apply local plumbing codes on the job with guidance from your lead technician
• Support both Service and Install departments as workload requires
• Deliver work that meets quality control standards and customer satisfaction
• Take ownership of your growth and safety on the job
