Job summary

Rite-Hite Service Technicians install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities. They act as a technical resource for customers and the sales force, working in field service environments and serving as primary customer contact.

This role requires welding and experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, with preference for repair or installation of industrial equipment.

Qualifications

• Welding experience required and mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems knowledge.
• Experience repairing or installing industrial equipment preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a field environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and work outdoors; DOT physical and drug test required.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

Rite-Hite Service Technicianswill install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities. In addition, Service Technicians act as a technical resource for our customers and our sales force. This position works independently or in small teams in a field service environment, and is a primary customer contact.

Required Experience:

Rite-Hite sells the best and we hire the best. This position requires experience welding and working with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Prior experience in the repair or installation of industrial equipment is preferred. Selected candidate must be able to work independently in a field environment. Good customer service skills are required. This position requires the ability to work outdoors, at heights, and lift up to 100 pounds. As this position requires driving a company vehicle, a pre-employment drug test and clean driving record are required, as is a DOT physical.
