Lex Air Conditioning, Heating, Plumbing, and Electrical is seeking a Plumbing Install Apprentice in Plano, TX to support residential plumbing installations and gain hands-on training from skilled plumbers. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and customer service on diverse job sites.

You will assist with piping, fixtures, and appliances, follow senior staff instructions, and develop skills through practical, on-site experience while adhering to company safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to use and handle plumbing tools and instruments.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and climbing.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
• Current and valid driver’s license in the work state.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing plumbing systems in residential settings.
• Follow instructions from senior plumbers to ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Work with experienced plumber on residential fixtures and piping.
• Cut, assemble, and install pipes with attention to existing infrastructure.
• Use various plumbing tools and equipment to complete tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in installing plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in residential settings
• Follow instructions from senior plumbers to ensure high-quality workmanship
• Work with experienced plumber installing residential plumbing fixtures and piping
• Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g., electrical wiring)
• Use a variety of plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)
• Complete all tasks in accordance with company quality and safety standards
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed efficiently
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns professionally
• Adhere to safety standards and company policies

Pay Range

$16 - $16 USD
