Job summary

Kotz Heating and Air is seeking an Apprentice Plumber in Waterford, MI. This role handles residential plumbing tasks, both service and replacement installations, under the guidance of a journeyman or master plumber.

The position offers employer-sponsored training and industry certifications, with hours 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, plus occasional overtime. A strong path to advancement is highlighted.

Qualifications

6 months+ experience in residential plumbing or education plus experience.
Valid plumber's apprenticeship card, or obtain after employment.
Experience with basic plumbing tools listed above.
Strong customer service and clear communication.
Solid troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

Residential plumbing, service and replacement installations.
Collaborate with journeyman or master plumber.
Perform maintenance, servicing, repairs and new installations.
Use trade tools such as snakes, augers, drills, saws, hammers, tape measures, levels, and screwdrivers.
Consult with customers about options for service, repair and replacement.
Work in all types of weather.
