Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Service is seeking an Apprentice Plumber to join our nationwide service team. You’ll start with paid training and learn the trade while earning a wage, under the guidance of experienced technicians.

First-year earnings average around $55,000, with potential to exceed $100,000 as you gain experience. You’ll diagnose issues, provide estimates, make repairs, document work, and advance toward licensing with company support.

• A valid driver’s license.
• Excellent communications skills.
• A mechanical aptitude is desirable, but prior plumbing experience is not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues and provide cost estimates to finalize the transaction.
• Perform repairs for customers.
• Document estimates and invoices, both in writing and on a provided smart phone.
• Collect payment and move on to the next service call.

First year Roto-Rooter service technicians can expect top-pay, earning $55,000, on average. Pay increases quickly with each year of experience with our most experienced service technicians earning over $100,000 a year.

Roto-Rooter provides an initial 12 weeks of paid training plus continual training in our plumbing school. You’ll earn while you learn the trade, and we’ll guide you through the plumber licensing process to help you advance.
