Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Service in Raleigh is seeking an Apprentice Plumber to begin a professional plumbing career. You will learn through paid training, diagnose issues, provide estimates, perform repairs, and document work.

The program includes 12 weeks of paid training plus ongoing instruction in our plumbing school, with guidance to obtain your plumber license and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Excellent communications skills are essential.
• A mechanical aptitude is desirable, but prior plumbing experience is not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose plumbing and drain issues during service calls and prepare cost estimates.
• Perform necessary repairs and installations as directed by senior technicians.
• Document estimates and invoices, both written and on a provided smartphone.
• Collect payment and proceed to the next service call.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.

First year Roto-Rooter service technicians can expect top-pay, earning $55,000, on average. Pay increases quickly with each year of experience.

Roto-Rooter provides an initial 12 weeks of paid training plus continual training in our plumbing school. You’ll earn while you learn the trade, and we’ll guide you through the plumber licensing process to help you advance.

Responsibilities

• Roto-Rooter plumbing apprentices/service technicians utilize their skills to provide effective solutions for plumbing and drain issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• A plumbing service call starts with diagnosing issues and offering cost estimates to finalize the transaction.
