Job summary

Comfort Systems USA Shoffner is seeking an Apprentice Plumber in Knoxville, TN. You will learn to lay out and install commercial piping, work outdoors, and gain NCCER credentials through on-the-job training and classroom study.

Classes begin in August 2025 with immediate work opportunities. Military veterans are encouraged to apply; GI Bill benefits may apply. A comprehensive benefits package and paid time off are included.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience using hand tools and a tape measure is a plus.
• Willingness to learn NCCER program and earn/apprentice credentials.

Responsibilities

• Learn to lay out and install commercial pipes in a variety of job settings.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles.
• Build and install hangers to hold material in place; install plumbing fixtures.
• Learn to use a variety of power and hand tools; work at heights and in confined spaces.
