Target Optical in Canton, GA is seeking a Part-Time Apprentice Optician to drive eyewear sales and deliver exceptional guest service. You will verify prescriptions, measure pupillary distances, fit frames, and dispense lenses and contacts as part of EssilorLuxottica’s vision care team.

• Actively enrolled in state-approved Optician Apprentice program.

Responsibilities

• Drives profitable store sales by fostering a retail selling culture and practicing effective sales skills.
• Develops professional relationships with team members.
• Verifies visual acuity and interprets prescriptions.
• Measures pupillary distances and lens placements.
• Selects and fits frames for facial contour, eye size, and temple length.
• Fits eyewear, dispenses contact lenses, and ensures quality fabrication.
