Apprentice Machinist
Penn United Technologies, Inc. is now accepting applications for a full-time Apprentice Machinist to join our Tooling Group. We seek individuals eager to do precision work, learn a high-demand skill, and grow professionally within our employee-owned company.

Responsibilities:
- Read prints & job orders to determine dimensions and machine setup
- Set up and operate machining equipment such as manual and CNC lathes, mills, and surface grinders to meet specifications
- Calculate and adjust controls or input commands for computerized machines
- Verify finished work using precision measuring tools
- Attend on-site apprenticeship classes alongside on-the-job training
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong math and mechanical skills/aptitude
- Desire and ability to perform precision work
- Experience with lathes, mills, or surface grinders is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and measurement tools is preferred but not required
- Ability to work shifts, lift up to 40 lbs., and stand for 8-10 hours daily
