Position Summary

Precision is hiring APPRENTICE FINISHERS. Must have knowledge of concrete finishing, use of trade tools and lay‑down procedures. Understand the importance of proper surface preparation for concrete finishing.

Essential Job Functions

• Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure concrete surfaces.
• Set and check the forms that hold concrete to ensure they are well constructed.
• Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, and gutters.
• Smooth the concrete surface.
• Mold expansion joints.
• Pour concrete ensuring that it is level and smooth.
• Implement and observe company safety programs.
• Other duties as directed by the superintendent and/or supervisor.
• Finish concrete with hand tools and machines.
• Concrete vibration.
• Tool, equipment & jobsite cleanup.
• Working concrete pump line systems.
• Raking & spreading concrete.
• Strike off concrete.
• Assist finishers.
