Bunkley Electric is seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our Field Operations team in Abilene, TX. Gain hands-on experience with commercial electrical systems and receive mentorship in a family-oriented company culture.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of electrical theory and safety practices.
• High school diploma or GED required; Apprentice Electrician License preferred.
• Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools and PPE.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial electrical systems and components.
• Safely use electrical tools, equipment, and PPE.
• Work under the supervision of journeyman or master electricians to complete daily tasks.
• Understand and install all types of raceways.
• Read blueprints and electrical schematics under guidance.
• Maintain job site cleanliness and adhere to safety protocols.
• Participate in safety training and team meetings.
• Accurately track time and materials.
• Support troubleshooting efforts and learn to identify electrical issues independently.
