Patriot Contracting LLC is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our commercial electrical team in Fairfax and Northern Virginia. You will learn on active job sites under experienced electricians, gaining hands-on training in installations, renovations, and tenant fit-outs.

This full-time role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and growth, with mentors to develop your electrical skills and progress toward greater responsibilities in the trade.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Virginia Apprentice Electrician license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and safety.
• Willingness to learn electrical codes, blueprints, wiring methods.
• Ability to lift materials and perform physical work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial electrical systems.
• Support electricians with rough-ins, wiring, conduit installation, device installation, and electrical finish work.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications with guidance.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe jobsite.
• Follow safety procedures and communicate daily needs with team.
