A local electrical contractor in Greeley, CO is seeking Apprentice Electricians/Instrument Techs. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with installation, repairs, and commissioning of electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures.
• Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Replace conduit and wiring as directed when needed.
• Install, repair and commissioning of instruments (level, flow, temperature, vibrations, pressure).
• Bend and install tubing.
• Cut, thread, and install piping.
• Perform other related duties as assigned; show up on time and complete hazard assessments; ensure paperwork is completed timely.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Assists with install, repairs, and c ommissioning of electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures.

Assists with install of cable tray, conduits, and pipes for electrical wires and cables.

Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.

Replaces conduit and wiring as directed when needed.

Installs, repairs, and commissions of instruments including level, flow, temperature, vibrations, and pressure.

Bend and install tubing.

Cut, thread, and install piping.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Show up on time prepared for work.

Fill out and/or assist with job site hazard assessments.

Ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely fashion.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to use hand tools and power tools

Computer knowledge for use of on-line work orders and time sheets.

Hold a valid driver’s license.

Ability to understand and communicate in a proper manner on email, text, or phone.

Relay information and questions through the proper hierarchy chain.

Ability to adapt to last minute changes and redirect course of project completion accordingly.

Ability to work independently, or as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.

Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.

Must be physically capable of all mentioned duties.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
