Job summary

Zekelman Industries is seeking an Apprentice Electrician in Royse City, TX. You will support licensed electricians on industrial construction projects, learning to install, repair and maintain electrical systems while developing hands-on skills in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.

You will gain experience with conduit, wiring, lighting and device installation under supervision, with opportunities for growth as you pursue licensing and journeyman status.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Must own and bring required hand tools to the job.
• Must apply for and maintain an Electrical Apprentice License.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed electricians with materials prep and installations.
• Perform conduit bending and assist with switchgear installation.
• Pull, route, and terminate wires; install lighting and devices.
• Follow safety rules and MSDS; work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Travel to construction sites; perform physical labor as needed.
