Job summary

Loenbro is seeking an Apprentice Electrician in Austin, TX. You will work under Journeyman Electricians to install, start-up, troubleshoot, commission, and service industrial and commercial electrical equipment and systems.

Follow directions to complete maintenance and repair tasks while learning essential electrical processes. You will observe and learn a wide range of skills, progressing to perform tasks with increasing independence.

Qualifications

• Have between 2-4 years (4000-7500 OJT hours) of electrical work experience.
• Strong understanding of the importance of quality work.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.

• Observe, learn, and understand a wide range of skills and processes under the instruction of a skilled electrician.
• Demonstrate these skills as on-the-job training progresses by working independently or with others to complete tasks.
• Learn and understand safety importance within the workspace and across projects.
• Learn about tools and materials required for electricians to complete tasks and projects.
• Maintain good housekeeping and organization in the work area.
• Properly utilize the required tools and equipment for each task.

Job Summary

The Apprentice Electrician, under the direction of Journeyman Electricians,is responsible forthe installation, start-up, troubleshooting,commissioningand servicing of industrial / commercial electrical equipment and systems.
