Job summary

Loenbro is seeking an Electrical Apprentice in Franklin, TN. Under the Master Electrician, you will assist with installation, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning and servicing of industrial/electrical systems and maintenance work under Journeyman supervision.

Growing team environment offering career development and safety-focused culture. On-site role with travel up to 10% and protective PPE compliance required.

Qualifications

• Understanding schematics and technical manuals is required.
• Reliable with excellent oral and written communication.
• Must be willing to submit to pre-employment screening including background check and drug screen.
• Basic computer knowledge is required.
• 2-4 years of electrical apprenticeship preferred or demonstrated experience.

Job Summary

The Apprentice Electrician, under the direction of the Master Electrician, is responsible for the installation, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning and servicing of industrial / commercial electrical equipment and systems. This position will be responsible for following the directions of the Journeyman Electrician to complete electrical maintenance and repair work.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• The Electrician Apprentice will assist the Electrician with basic tasks


• Complete Maintenance work orders on electrical equipment. Testing malfunctioning equipment, identifying defects, troubleshooting, repairing equipment and replacing defective parts.


• Collaborate with other electrical staff to identify and resolve problems.


• Up-dates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.

Minimum Qualifications

• Possessing the ability to understand schematics and technical manuals


• Must be reliable and have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.


• Must be willing to submit to pre-employment screening, including criminal background check and drug screen.


• Basic computer knowledge is required.


• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred

• 2-4 years of electrical apprenticeship preferred


• Demonstrate knowledge of electrical codes
