Paschal Heating and Air Conditioning Co., Inc. is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our team in Missouri. You’ll support the lead technician with installations, troubleshooting, and repairs, while learning safety practices and electrical codes in a hands-on environment.

You’ll gain exposure to wiring, outlets, fixtures, panels, and testing equipment, with opportunities for tuition/training reimbursement and career growth in a team-focused, customer-first culture.

• Possess great mechanical aptitude.
• Demonstrated ability to read and understand technical instructions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of equipment, tools and methods used in electrical services.
• Some knowledge of code requirements and safety practices for electrical work.
• Ability to learn in classroom and hands-on.
• Computer knowledge and the ability to use software tools for plumbing duties, such as time keeping, customer billing and applying credit card payments.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Applicable state and local electrical licenses or ability to obtain.
• This position is safety sensitive; pre-employment drug screen and background check is required.

• Report to customers’ homes and businesses on time and arrive with a positive attitude in helping the lead technician meet goals
• Educate customers on system use, maintenance tips and techniques for damage prevention; provide insight and professional suggestions for optimizing system function. Give advice on additional services that may be beneficial to the customers
• Assist the lead technician with install, troubleshoot and repair/replace wiring, outlets, fixtures, panels, etc.
• Utilize several types of tools, including electrical hand-tools, saws, drills, circuit testing equipment, etc.
• Assist the lead technician to determine service requirements by applying technical skills and experience, including performance standards and preventive maintenance experience
• Complete all work processes while maintaining safe working conditions and personal safety
• Document, in detail, the outcome of every work order
• Other duties as assigned
