Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Electrical Installation: Install switchgear, motor control centers, panels, fire alarms, conveyors, lighting, and power systems.
• Blueprint Reading & Interpretation: Read blueprints, MEP drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics to ensure code-compliant installation.
• Physical Labor & Site Assistance: Lift and move materials, work in overhead/ confined spaces, and use hand/power tools.
• Collaboration & Support: Work with journeymen/foremen, take direction, and maintain a safe, organized workspace.

# Apprentice ElectricianGrand Rapids, MI 49544## Description**About Allied:** Allied Electric is a 50+ year electrical contractor servicing the Midwest Region in industrial, commercial, and institutional electrical and low voltage construction projects.**Job Summary:**As an Electrical Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced journeymen and foremen to gain hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. Your responsibilities will span a wide range of tasks, from conduit installation to reading blueprints, ensuring you develop the skills needed to become a proficient electrician.**Key Responsibilities:****Electrical Installation:*** Install a variety of electrical systems, including switchgear, motor control centers, electrical panels, fire alarms, conveyor systems, lighting fixtures, and power systems.* Install feeder and branch conduit, including EMT, IMC, rigid, PVC, and PVC-coated rigid conduit.
