Job summary

Dvorak, LLC is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our field team in Baltimore, MD. This full-time, in-person role offers hands-on learning under licensed electricians and exposure to heavy electrical systems. You will assist with installations, maintenance, and repairs while following safety standards.

We value mechanical aptitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Enrollment in an apprenticeship, OSHA certification, and a valid driver’s license are required or preferred as noted.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Enrollment in a state-approved apprenticeship program required.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Reliable transportation expected.
  • Construction or electrical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Work under supervision of a Master or Journeyman Electrician to complete tasks.
  • Assist in identifying, analyzing, troubleshooting, and performing electrical work on job sites.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
  • Measure, cut, bend, and install wire and conduit; thread ends and connect couplings.
  • Inspect electrical units for loose connections or insulation issues and perform repairs.
  • Drill holes, pull/push wiring, strip insulation, and assist with soldering connections.
  • Install copper-clad ground rods and ensure proper grounding per safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with material staging and cleanup.
  • Update work logs and assist with administrative duties as directed.
  • Collaborate with team members, subcontractors, and vendors to meet deadlines.
  • Adhere to safety policies, OSHA/state regulations, and participate in toolbox talks.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Dvorak, LLC is looking for a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our growing field team. If you have mechanical aptitude, a genuine interest in the trade, and want to learn from experienced electricians while building a long-term career, we want to hear from you!

The Apprentice Electrician supports the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems under the supervision of a licensed electrician. What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Mechanical aptitude, strong problem‑solving skills, and willingness to learn
  • Reliable, organized, and able to follow instructions accurately
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly (occasionally up to 75 lbs)
  • Prior construction or electrical experience is a plus

License/Certification

  • Enrollment in a state‑approved apprenticeship program (Required)
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $18.00 - $28.50 per hour (based upon completed apprenticeship hours)

Work Location: In person, field-based; may involve exposure to weather, heights, confined spaces, and loud noise. PPE required on all job sites.
