LA FLEET CARE in Sun Valley, CA seeks a Level 3 Apprentice Diesel Technician. This beginner role offers hands-on training in a family-owned shop with a team focus and opportunities for growth. Expect to work Monday–Friday 8 AM–5 PM with Saturdays by appointment while developing core diesel repair skills.

Candidates should have 0–3 years experience, a strong work ethic, and a hunger to improve. Basic tools and a readiness to learn in a supportive environment are essential for success.

L.A. Fleet Care is hiring Level 3: Apprentice Diesel technicians. Looking for technicians who value a team environment where their character, attitude, and skills are allowed to shine. Requirements

• Tech Level 3 Requirements (Beginner)($20-26/hr) – Apprentice Level
• Hunger to learn and grow in their craft
• Basic tools (sockets, filter wrenches, impact, box)
• Previous automotive repair experience or diesel technical school training (Preferred but not mandatory)
• Ability to absorb and implement new material and techniques
• Can listen with intent
• Follows instructions with precision
• Ability to shadow and learn from observation
• Has an attitude to contribute outside of mechanical repairs
• Understanding of basic industry terminologies
• Cleans work area after repairs are completed
• Keeps an optimistic and respectful attitude
• Looks for opportunities to assist mentors/trainers/teachers
• Brings a strong work ethic
• Understands failure is part of growth
• Is eager to one day contribute in a meaningful way and share the things they’ve learned with others
