Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Apprentice Controls Technician for the 2nd shift to support build-up and maintenance of data and control systems. The role involves calibration, troubleshooting, and wiring of instrumentation and electrical systems in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining data acquisition systems, diagnosing malfunctions, and interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in instrumentation, control technology, electrical systems or related field.
• Experience with instrumentation such as pressure transducers, thermocouples, valves, flow meters, multimeters, or oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, calibrate, monitor, test, troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems
• Diagnose and repair instrumentation or system malfunctions
• Assemble, test, and repair electrical and electronic units, assemblies, components
• Terminate wires and verify sensor health (pressure transducers, thermocouples, valves)
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings
