• Basic math and measurement concepts used in machining.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up and operate CNC lathe machines.
• Load materials and secure parts for machining.
• Assist with tooling changes and machine setup.
• Monitor machine performance and production quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Inspect finished parts with calipers and gauges.
• Perform basic quality checks to ensure parts meet specs.
• Troubleshoot machining issues with guidance.
• Maintain production and inspection records.
• Follow safety procedures and keep a clean work area.
• Collaborate with experienced machinists and production staff.

Pay: $15–$18/hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, plus occasional Saturdays (6:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
