Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking an Apprentice Bartender at Excalibur in Las Vegas. The role supports bartenders, ensuring a high-energy, guest-focused bar environment and exposure to the craft of bartending.

The starting rate is $15.9497 USD per hour. Candidates should be 21+ with weekend/holiday availability and a high school diploma or equivalent; prior apprentice bartender experience in a resort setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
• 1+ years of bartending apprenticeship experience in a resort setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist the bartender with preparation of drinks, mixes and garnishes
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of the bar area
• Maintain stock of items and products in designated work areas
• Ensure proper setup, labeling, stocking and delivery of beverages and supplies
• Clean equipment, tools, and glassware and ensure equipment is in working order
• Perform opening and closing duties based on shift assignment
• Promote and maintain the highest level of service to guests and respond to inquiries
• Resolve guest issues within authority or refer to management when needed
