Audi Exchange St. Charles is seeking an Apprentice Technician in St. Charles, IL. The role offers paid training, benefits, and a path to develop skills in automotive service within a premier Auto Group.

You will train with a journeyman, perform routine maintenance, complete multi-point inspections, and participate in manufacturer-sponsored programs while upholding high standards of customer vehicle care and shop cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 21 years of age.
• Trade school or working towards a degree in Automotive Technology.
• Experience working for an automotive dealership.

Responsibilities

• Train alongside a skilled journeyman technician.
• Perform basic and routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, tire balancing, and battery testing.
• Accurately complete the multi-point inspection for each vehicle.
• Utilize product and technical training as assigned by the manufacturer and management.
• Ensure customer vehicles are returned in the same condition or better than when they were brought in.
• Participate in manufacturer sponsored training programs and schools.
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
• Maintain shop cleanliness.
