Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Currently enrolled in High School as Senior and six months to one-year related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Works and assists alongside an assigned technician to learn to perform quality vehicle service maintenance and repairs.
• Performs safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work, basic maintenance, and minor repairs as directed.
• Apprentice technicians communicate with their team and follow safety policies and regulations.
• Delivers customer cars safely to and from service stalls as requested by technicians.
• Picks up parts from the parts department as directed by technicians.
• Replenishes supplies as requested by technicians or service manager.
• Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
• Maintains the workshop area clean and organized.
• Attends training classes and departmental meetings.
• Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Keeps up with Manufacturer training, safety compliance training, and security on a timely basis.
