Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group in Sacramento area is seeking experienced Commercial Roofers to join our team. You will be responsible for maintenance, repairs and installation of commercial roofing systems in a dynamic work environment.

The role offers an hourly rate of $20-$33, with benefits including 401K, company pension, health insurance, paid time-off and continuing education. Candidates must be able to pass a background screen and drug test.

Qualifications

• Commercial roofing experience or exposure to low-slope roofing is preferred.
• Ability to follow safety regulations and operate tools properly.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Install BUR, EPDM, single-ply, coatings and other low-slope roofing systems.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Comply with OSHA and site safety regulations; work outdoors in varying weather.
• Climb ladders and handle loads up to 50 lbs.

Position Duties & Responsibilities

• Installation of different types of roofing systems such as BUR, EPDM, Single-ply, coatings, and other forms of low-slope roofing systemsSafe operation of tools of the trade (hand tools, power tools etc.)
• Follow OSHA regulations and other regulatory agencies relating to job site safety, demonstrates safe work practices.
• Work outside in a wide variety of weather conditions and to meet the physical demands of the position, including mobility needed to complete tasks.
• Climbing and operating on ladders, able to handle at least 50 lbs.
• Effective communication with foremen, supervisors, and other WTI and Tremco employees

Job Requirements

• Commercial Roofing: All levels; at least 1 year preferred
• Reliable form of transportation
• Acceptable background check per company standards
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical

The hourly rate for applicants in this position generally ranges between $20 and $33.
