HomeSmiles is hiring Technician Apprentice who want a hands-on, outdoor job where you’ll learn valuable skills in property maintenance, exterior cleaning, and preventative home care. Whether you're looking for your first field technician position, coming from grounds maintenance, or want to explore a path into the skilled trades, this is the job for you.

We provide paid training, all necessary tools, and a direct 12-month path to a leadership role.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working on ladders, roofs, and in outdoor conditions.
• Mechanically inclined with ability to learn power tools, water-fed poles, squeegee systems, and rotary dryer vent tools.
• Willing to learn how to clean gutters, wash windows, power wash surfaces, and complete all property maintenance services.
• Coachable with strong attention to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Start your day by prepping and cleaning your HomeSmiles service van, restocking tools and equipment.
• Use your mobile tablet to check your route and scheduled appointments.
• Meet with homeowners or property managers to confirm service details.
• Identify equipment issues and troubleshoot hoses, pumps, ladders, and sprayers.
• Track and maintain tool inventory and alert team lead when replacements are needed.
• This is a non-construction, non-repair role. You won’t be asked to perform plumbing, electrical, roofing, or general contractor services.
