Strata Innovative Solutions in Midland, TX is seeking electrical apprentices with 1–4 years of experience for a commercial construction role. Job Details

Job Location: MID - Midland, TX 79706.

Commercial construction experience desired. Seeking Apprentices with 1-4 years of experience. Individuals with no electrical experience need not apply. Pay range: $21-25/hour (experience commensurate) plus benefits.

Essential Duties

• Always comply with company safety policies
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand and power tools
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures
• Attend IEC instruction and maintain passing grades to enhance your skills
• Study and stay updated with current NEC code knowledge
• Perform other assigned duties with a proactive attitude

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
• Possess the necessary personal tools for the job. (1st year apprentices supplied with hand tools and protective equipment if necessary)
• Maintain schooling requirements to further your career
• Be a mechanically inclined self-starter who is eager to learn and grow

Physical Requirements

• Able to work off all types of ladders, lifts and elevated platforms (electric or gas powered)
• Able to work at various heights up to 50 feet from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, cat walks, or other safe work areas
• Able to work in restricted areas, manholes, utility tunnels, crawl spaces and attics
• Able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead
• Able to carry tools and materials up to 50 pounds from the ground to overhead
• Able to constantly move on feet, climbing ladders and working overhead
• Possess good vision (normal or corrected)
• Able to get to customer job sites

Able to work in all elements, depending on job locations and time of year
