Tops Markets is accepting applications for current and future part-time openings. A brief description of each department is listed below. Tops has a history of promoting from within, and all full-time positions are posted internally first. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Front End: The final point of contact with our customers. As a cashier or cart clerk, your most important responsibility is to make a positive, friendly, and lasting impression on our customers.
• Bakery: Slice, price, package, and display baked goods; ensure product is stocked, rotated, and stored properly.
• Pharmacy: If you have a passion or interest in health-related services, a pharmacy technician may be the perfect position. Responsibilities include retrieving medications, labeling, entering customer data, maintaining records, and ensuring security and proper stocking of supplies.
• Deli/Carryout Cafe: Fulfill customer requests for deli and/or prepared foods, slice meats/cheeses, prepare products, and ensure proper storage and display.
• General Merchandise: Stock shelves, maintain displays, organize the backroom, and ensure product availability across items like first aid, non-food, and seasonal products.
• Grocery: Similar to general merchandise, ensure shelves are stocked, displays are maintained, and the backroom is organized.
• Meat: Stock and store meat products, assist customers, and, if certified, ensure quality cuts and proper processing of meat products.
• Produce: Stock, store, water, and prepare produce; fulfill customer orders for fruit and vegetable platters.
• Seafood: Stock, store, and display seafood; assist with customer inquiries and fulfill requests.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with customers and associates.
