Job summary

Syngenta Seeds is seeking an Applied Scientist - Pipeline Data Science in the United States. You will design scalable data pipelines that consolidate diverse breeding datasets, enabling actionable insights for crop development.

You will model data and apply machine learning techniques to support predictive analytics, working with IT, data science, and business teams to deliver impactful results in a collaborative, cutting-edge environment.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field (e.g., CS, statistics, applied math, quantitative genetics).
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, SQL; experience with data engineering and analytics.
  • Experience with AWS and scalable data pipelines; ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Design scalable data pipelines to consolidate data from multiple sources for plant-breeding analytics.
  • Contribute to data quality, reliability, and visualization to enable decision making.
  • Drive data modeling and mining for advanced analytical approaches and ML workflows.
