Amazon is hiring an Applied Scientist for AWS Science of Security in New York, NY. You will design, develop, evaluate, and deploy automated reasoning tools to verify the correctness and security of software systems, applying constraint solving, model checking, static analysis, and related techniques.

You will work in a fast-moving, startup-like AWS environment, collaborating with world-class researchers to ship impactful solutions that safeguard millions of customers.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent research experience.
• Experience in SAT, SMT, mechanical theorem proving, symbolic simulation, programming language type systems, or program analysis.
• Experience programming in OCaml, Dafny, Haskell, Kotlin, Lean, Rust, Scala or related language.

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
