Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States (Illinois, Niles) seeks a highly skilled ML/AI specialist to prototype and deploy advanced models. You will work with data scientists and engineers to design architectures, train neural networks, and adapt solutions for diverse platform environments.

Ideal candidates are in PhD or advanced Masters programs, with deep experience in ML applications across images, video, audio, and NLP. Strong communication and a self-driven approach are essential.

Qualifications

• PhD or advanced degree in ML or related field is required or in-process.
• Deep learning applied to images/video, audio, NLP or DSP is essential.
• Proven experience with popular ML frameworks and libraries.
• Self-starter capable of rapid prototyping and data-driven research.
• Understanding ML-Ops patterns is a plus.
• Full stack development experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Job description

• Work with a team of data scientists and engineers to prototype and realize novel use cases enabled by machine learning and artificial intelligence
• Solve problems through research and collection/creation of data
• Design architectures, train, and evaluate deep neural network models and other advanced algorithms
• Adapt models for implementation in a range of platform environments

Requirements

• In-process of a PhD or advanced Masters in machine learning or in application of deep learning in related scientific or engineering fields
• Deep experience in application of machine learning to images/video, audio, natural language text, and/or other digital signal processing, transformation, or generation
• Demonstrated experience with leading machine learning tools and libraries
• A self-starter who capable of digging deeply into ideas and concepts and generating rapid prototypes
• Experience or understanding of common ML-Ops patterns is a plus
• Experience with full stack development is a plus
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
