Job summary

Florida Polytechnic University invites undergraduates to join the PRISM Applied Research Intern program. Selected students will engage in faculty-mentored projects across aerospace, AI, cybersecurity, and more, gaining hands-on experience and professional development.

The paid internship offers mentorship, networking, and opportunities to contribute to research deliverables, with a commitment of up to 10 hours per week at $15.00 per hour for 30 weeks.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at Florida Polytechnic University.
• Sophomore standing or higher.
• Minimum 3.6 cumulative GPA.
• Ability to commit up to 10 hours per week to PRISM activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in faculty-directed applied research projects within an assigned area.
• Conduct research, data collection, experimentation, analysis, literature reviews, or other project activities.
• Work collaboratively with faculty, graduate researchers, students, and partners.
• Attend research meetings and provide progress updates.
• Maintain accurate research documentation, records, data, and materials.
• Assist with preparation of research findings, reports, presentations, posters.
