Tracera is seeking an Applied Machine Learning Engineer Intern to join our Product & Engineering team in NYC. You will work on ML research to enable easy sustainability data collection and reporting for supplier data, with a primary focus on RAG systems, data extraction, and AI-driven tooling.

The role requires post-graduation status, 40 hours weekly, and an on-site presence for 3 days in Manhattan. A strong background in Python, ML workflows, and transformer-based models is essential.

Qualifications

• Required: research-focused ML coursework or experience in ML/NLP.
• Must be pursuing advanced degree in ML-related field.
• Proficient in Python and ML libraries.

Responsibilities

• Work with Product & Engineering on ML research for data collection and reporting.
• Design and deploy RAG pipelines for supplier data ingestion and retrieval.
• Build AI agents to crawl public or API data sources.
• Develop scalable APIs and data pipelines for AI experimentation.
• Collaborate with teams to assess feasibility and data needs.
• Address data bias and ensure quality in datasets.
