Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Direct experience delivering at least one production AI system.
• Experience optimizing cost, latency, and context usage in production LLM/workflow systems.
• Experience designing evaluation, observability, rollback, and failure handling for nondeterministic systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and API/data/service development practices.
• Eligible for Secret and higher security clearance (US).
• Subject to pre-employment risk screening and random substance testing.

Responsibilities

• Build production-grade LLM applications for documentation and knowledge-work workflows.
• Design orchestration for multi-step workflows coordinating models, tools, and deterministic services.
• Optimize context management, token usage, caching, and workflow design for cost and latency.
• Build retrieval, structured-output, and tool-integrated systems for enterprise content and docs tooling.
• Design evaluation frameworks and regression testing for prompts, models, tools, and pipelines.
• Establish observability, auditability, rollback, and safe failure modes for AI workflows.
• Collaborate with technical writers, engineers, and leadership to apply AI where high value is found.
