Your role and responsibilities

As an Applied AI Specialist, you will drive the design, implementation, and management of AI-driven solutions that operationalize AI-first Application Management Services. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver scalable, user-centric AI capabilities that automate workflows and improve service delivery, leveraging expertise in AI solution delivery and operational governance.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Solution Design: Translate business and operational requirements into scalable, user-centric AI capabilities that automate workflows, augment decision-making, and improve service delivery.
• AI Implementation: Implement and manage AI-driven solutions that integrate with observability, telemetry, event management, and operational monitoring platforms to enable intelligent automation and incident response.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize agent performance through model evaluation, prompt refinement, agent configuration, and logic enhancements to improve accuracy, reliability, and business outcomes.
• Operational Governance: Maintain operational governance of AI solutions by managing production stability, performance thresholds, compliance requirements, risk controls, and responsible AI practices.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with application operations, platform operations, engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to design, deploy, and continuously improve agent-based solutions.

This position can be performed from anywhere in the United States.

Required technical and professional expertise

• AI Solution Delivery: Deep expertise in designing, implementing, and managing AI-driven solutions that operationalize AI-first Application Management Services. Experience with translating business and operational requirements into scalable, user-centric AI capabilities.
• AI Integration: Experience with integrating AI agents with observability, telemetry, event management, and operational monitoring platforms to enable intelligent automation and incident response.
• Agent Performance Optimization: Experience in monitoring and optimizing agent performance through model evaluation, prompt refinement, agent configuration, and logic enhancements to improve accuracy, reliability, and business outcomes.
• Operational Governance: Deep expertise in maintaining operational governance of AI solutions, including managing production stability, performance thresholds, compliance requirements, risk controls, and responsible AI practices.
• AI Technology Utilization: Experience with utilizing Agentic AI frameworks, AI orchestration platforms, observability tools, telemetry systems, event management solutions, and automation technologies to deliver scalable and sustainable AI-enabled operations.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Advanced AI Frameworks: Experience with utilizing Agentic AI frameworks to deliver scalable AI-enabled operations.
• AI Orchestration Tools: Knowledge of AI orchestration platforms and automation technologies to improve service delivery.
• Telemetry Systems Expertise: Familiarity with telemetry systems and event management solutions to enable intelligent automation.
