Job summary

Midstream seeks a seasoned Solutions Architect to bridge prospective customers and the AI-native platform. You will lead technical discovery, solution design, and architecture reviews across Sales, Product, and Engineering to demonstrate value in complex healthcare environments.

You will guide executives, security teams, and technical leaders through evaluation, secure integration design, and scalable deployment strategies, building reusable frameworks and assets that accelerate adoption.

Qualifications

• Experience as a senior technical architect delivering end-to-end enterprise software implementations.
• Ability to design scalable API integrations and secure cloud-native architectures.
• Strong understanding of AI governance, MLOps, and enterprise AI patterns in healthcare.

Opportunity

This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Product, Engineering, and Partner Success, serving as the technical bridge between prospective customers and Midstream’s AI-native platform. You will lead technical discovery, solution architecture, architecture discussions, and technical validation—helping customers understand how Midstream integrates into complex healthcare environments and how our platform delivers measurable operational and financial outcomes.

As a trusted technical advisor, you will guide executive stakeholders, enterprise architects, security teams, and technical leaders throughout the customer journey—from initial discovery and solution design through implementation planning and deployment. You’ll help customers evaluate technical approaches, navigate enterprise architecture decisions, and build confidence that Midstream can integrate securely and scale within their existing technology ecosystem.

This is a high-impact, customer-facing role. Beyond supporting strategic customer engagements, you will help establish the technical foundation that enables Midstream to scale by developing repeatable architecture patterns, demonstration environments, implementation frameworks, and technical assets that elevate the entire commercial organization while shaping the evolution of our product.

What you’ll be doing

Lead technical discovery

Partner with prospective customers to understand their technical landscape, business objectives, integration requirements, AI governance considerations, and long-term technology strategy.

Design enterprise solutions

Develop solution architectures, AI implementation strategies, and phased deployment approaches that demonstrate how Midstream integrates within complex healthcare environments while delivering measurable business value

Own technical validation

Lead technical discovery sessions, architecture reviews, executive workshops, product demonstrations, security discussions, and technical evaluations throughout the enterprise buying process

Serve as a Trusted Technical Advisor

Guide enterprise customers through their AI adoption journey, helping executives, architects, security teams, and operational leaders evaluate technical tradeoffs, implementation approaches, and long-term architecture decisions.

Develop AI Evaluation Frameworks

Help customers define evaluation criteria, success metrics, governance models, and implementation approaches that enable safe and successful deployment of AI within healthcare environments

Build and maintain scalable technical assets

Continuously improve demonstration environments, technical documentation, reference architectures, integration patterns, implementation playbooks, and reusable technical frameworks that enable Midstream to scale.

Shape the product

Partner closely with Product and Engineering to identify recurring implementation patterns, customer needs, and integration opportunities that inform product strategy and future platform capabilities.

Build the Technical GTM Foundation

Create repeatable demonstrations, technical messaging, architecture patterns, and implementation methodologies that reduce technical risk, accelerate enterprise sales cycles, and enable every commercial team member to succeed

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting enterprise AI, machine learning, analytics, or cloud platform deployments.
• Familiarity with modern LLMs, AI agents, evaluation frameworks, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or enterprise AI architecture.
• Experience designing secure cloud-native architectures and integrating enterprise applications through APIs.
• Python experience or the ability to prototype technical workflows.
• Healthcare interoperability, ERP, finance, supply chain, payer, or enterprise healthcare systems experience is strongly preferred.
