Job summary

iManage seeks an Applied AI Engineer to begin their career building AI capabilities powering the enterprise work platform, including Ask iManage and document classification. You’ll work with engineers, data scientists, and product stakeholders to ship AI features at scale, learning from seniors while contributing to production ML systems.

Qualifications

• Graduating in December 2026 or May 2027 with a degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience, including internships, research, or substantial coursework in ML/AI or software engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with modern AI frameworks such as PyTorch and Hugging Face.
• Solid grasp of ML fundamentals with exposure to generative AI or transformer architectures.
• Foundational software engineering skills - version control (Git/GitHub) and understanding of build and test processes.
• Ability to collaborate, communicate clearly, and take ownership of learning.
• Growth mindset and enthusiasm for building AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to AI systems across the ML lifecycle from model development to production serving with mentorship.
• Write, test, and maintain production-quality code for ML/LLM features and APIs.
• Help build and run evaluations to measure model quality and catch regressions.
• Support deployment and monitoring of ML systems on cloud infrastructure and learn CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with teammates and product stakeholders, asking good questions and taking ownership of scoped work.
