Job summary

Console is hiring an Applied AI Engineer in San Francisco to scale the core agent loop and AI workflows that power our platform.

You'll work with product and leadership to ship fast, design reliable systems, and own end-to-end projects, using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience focused on applied AI
• Proven track record of shipping agentic systems used by real users
• Comfortable across the stack (TypeScript, Node.js, React) and debugging production systems
• Strong product sense with focus on building intuitive, reliable systems
• Ownership mindset delivering end-to-end projects
• Enjoy following state-of-the-art research into new models and agent architectures
• Experience at the intersection of AI and ML products

Responsibilities

• Build intelligent agents that automate work and significantly increase productivity
• Design copilot-style workflows that help human operators do more, faster
• Treat agent quality like a first-class ML optimization problem using real usage data
• Build category-defining product capabilities from idea to production
