Applied AI & Analytics Associate

At SharkNinja we rely on data, analytics, and AI to drive decisions and solve the most important problems across the company. We are looking for a proactive, problem‑solving analytics professional who will work directly with senior leaders to turn complex questions into clear, actionable insights.

What You'll Actually Do

As an Applied AI & Analytics Associate you will lead analytical and AI initiatives across multiple functions, deliver high‑impact models and decision‑support tools, and help teams adopt analytical practices.

On Any Given Week, You Might

• Partner with VPs and Chiefs of Staff on analytical questions that require structured problem‑framing, data modeling or clear recommendations.
• Contribute to multi‑week analytical initiatives from scoping through delivery, managing expectations and timelines.
• Build and maintain dashboards, decision‑support tools, and analytical models that help senior leaders operate more effectively.
• Use LLMs, AI automation, or machine learning to accelerate your own analysis and help other teams do the same.
• Identify gaps in performance tracking and propose practical improvements in collaboration with finance, operations, and product teams.
• Work with teams to adopt analytical approaches or tools, contributing to broader adoption and impact.
• Introduce better analytical methods and tools to raise the quality and consistency of output across teams.
• Communicate findings clearly to senior stakeholders—translating complex analysis into straightforward recommendations that connect to business outcomes.
• Connect the dots between data from multiple functions to surface insights no single team could see on their own.
• Help support and review work from junior analysts or co‑ops, contributing to their development.

Must Have

• 2+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or consulting with a demonstrated track record of analytical delivery.
• Hands‑on experience deploying or building with LLMs, generative AI, or automation tools.
• Strong command of SQL and Python for data manipulation and scalable solutions.
• Proficiency building dashboards and analytical tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar).
• Clear communication skills—present findings to senior stakeholders and explain complex analysis in plain language.
• Ability to take an ambiguous business question and structure a complete analytical approach.
• Experience managing multiple workstreams and delivering against timelines with limited oversight.
• Project or program management experience—managing scope, timelines, and cross‑functional coordination.
• Understanding of impact orientation—connect analytical work to business results and articulate what changed because of your analysis.
• Experience driving adoption of tools, processes, or approaches within a team.

Even Better If You Have

• Background in consumer products, retail, or e‑commerce—understanding margin dynamics and go‑to‑market strategies.
• Experience with advanced statistical methods—experimentation, time‑series analysis, or applied ML.
• Hands‑on experience with large‑scale data infrastructure—designing pipelines, working with modern cloud platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks).
• Prior exposure to working alongside executive or senior leadership teams.
• Experience identifying and solving systemic problems—beyond single questions to improving whole functions.

Tools & Stack

• Languages: SQL, Python (strong proficiency); R, Scala, or equivalent a plus.
• BI & Visualization: Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar—deep proficiency in at least one platform.
• Data Platforms: Hands‑on experience with modern cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks).
• AI & Automation: Production experience with LLMs, generative AI, or automation tools—deployed solutions.
• Collaboration Tools: Slack, Jira, Asana, or similar for cross‑functional coordination.

Salary and Other Compensation

$100,000—$125,000 USD (geography, skills, experience, and qualifications may affect starting pay).
