Job summary

Agtegra Cooperative in Eldridge, ND is seeking a motivated Applicator/Truck Driver to operate and maintain spray equipment and to transport and deliver grain or materials. The role requires a CDL (Class A preferred) and a commitment to safety and customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or GED, be eligible to work in the United States, and able to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and working overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma/GED or 0-1 year related experience.
• Commercial Applicator License or ability to obtain license.
• Commercial Driver’s License: Class A CDL preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions including heat, cold, dust, loud noise, with PPE including a respirator.
• Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above).
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain spray equipment according to specifications.
• Drive diesel powered straight trucks or tractor trailer to transport and deliver grain or materials.
• Inspect trucks for defects/safety hazards before/after trips and submit reports.
• Perform basic clean-up and preventative maintenance on trucks.
• Blend crop protection products per label instructions and read maps.
• Interact with customers, peers, and management to provide exceptional service.
• Adhere to OSHA, vehicle policy, fleet safety, and DOT regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

We areseekinga highlymotivated and skilledApplicator/Truck Driverto joinourteam.T he Applicator/Truck Driver is responsible for operating and maintaining spray equipment according to specifications and responsible for driving diesel powered straight trucks or tractor trailer combination to transport and deliver grain or materials in liquid, loose, or packaged form.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operating machinery and equipment as required, including providing accurate and efficient unloading and delivery of product, inspection of all assigned trucks for defects/safety hazards before and aftertrips,submittingreport indicating truck condition,submittingaccuratesalesticketsand required records .


• Performingbasic clean-up and preventative maintenance on all assigned trucks, and other shop duties along with various plant operation and general maintenance and housekeeping. Monitors equipment for fertilizer or chemical leaks


• Responsible for blending crop protection products per label instructions to ensure quality chemicals, reading maps, following directions, andoperatingequipment with computerassistedoperations .


• Interacting regularly withcustomers,peers,and management toprovideexceptional customer service,pursue continuous improvement of facility operations,and promote a teamwork focusedenvironment. Includes interacting with Sales and Agronomy teamsregardingfield scouting and chemical mix recommendations .


• Adheres to all safety regulations, requirements, policies and procedures, including OSHA regulations, the vehicle policy and fleet safety program and DOT regulations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
