ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages all aspects of performing engineering runs and trials on customer parts.
- Explores and integrates new mask materials, tooling, and unique processing to ensure successful mask/demask operations.
- Creates technician-based tutorials for customer products and instructions for general or critical process methods.
- May travel to other SCS locations to assist in employee training and support process transfers.
- Facilitates the creation and management of standard tool and material lists, process techniques, and guidelines to support consistent processing and operator skills.
- Performs failure and problem analysis, and formulates solutions to specific and systematic challenges.
- Assists other engineers with special projects requiring masking and demasking knowledge.
- Manages special projects, tests, evaluations, and investigations, and creates reports and summaries of work.
- Adheres to plant and corporate safety policies.
- Operates advanced tools such as lasers, auto-maskers, and other support equipment for process facilitation.
- May assist in other areas or perform additional duties as required by business needs.
- Approves Certificates of Compliance.

- Manages projects and tasks with minimal oversight.
- Assists with cost-saving initiatives.
- Supports production in meeting deadlines when additional help is needed.
- Supports other engineers with special masking and demasking projects.
- Adheres to safety policies.
- May assist in other areas or perform additional duties based on business needs.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma with 2+ years of related experience, or a one-year college or technical school certificate, or equivalent experience. All requirements must be met or achieved post-training.
BASIC SKILLS:
- Ability to interpret safety rules, instructions, and manuals.
- Proficiency in basic math, including rate, ratio, and percent calculations, and ability to interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in various formats.
- Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments and laboratory equipment.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Fluent in English reading, writing, and speaking.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented.
- Professional interaction with customers.
