Position Overview
The Applications Sales Specialist, EAP & Lab Packs is responsible for leading a national sales strategy and execution to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and build long‑term customer relationships within a defined U.S. asset capability or segment. Reporting directly to Sales or segment leadership, the specialist shapes the go‑to‑market approach, educates and coordinates with Sales professionals, and represents the company’s environmental service offerings to existing and prospective customers.
Essential Functions & Requirements
Asset & Segment Strategy
- Lead the commercial execution strategy; develop sales materials and proposal best practices; educate Sales teams on strategies aligning with corporate growth goals and market needs.
- Translate enterprise‑wide sales objectives into actionable plans, targets and tactics for each sales region.
- Identify growth opportunities in hazardous and non‑hazardous waste services, industrial cleaning, remediation, and environmental compliance solutions.
Customer Engagement & Retention
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including industrial, commercial, and government accounts.
- Serve as a Sales specialist for accounts and provide guidance on negotiations for high‑value agreements.
- Partner with Operations to ensure service delivery aligns with customer expectations and contractual obligations.
Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging market intelligence and industry trends.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, customer meetings, and regulatory events to elevate visibility and brand.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Services teams to position services effectively and differentiate in competitive markets.
Reporting & Forecasting
- Lead sales forecasting design and performance compared to budget analysis.
- Track KPIs and pipeline health to proactively address gaps and capitalize on growth areas.
- Provide strategic updates and recommendations to sales leadership.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or technical field (required).
Experience
- 10+ years of sales leadership experience in environmental services, waste management or similar market (required).
- Previous experience and success leading multi‑state or national accounts and achieving multi‑million‑dollar revenue targets (required).
