Job summary

PeopleShare by PROMAN is hiring Quality Control Technicians for day and night shifts in a manufacturing environment. The role supports food safety, quality, and production standards with a stable schedule and competitive pay.

Shifts are 12 hours on a rotating 2/2/3 schedule, with day shift at $22.00/hr and night shift at $23.00/hr. Requires 1 year QC/QA experience or a biology/chemistry degree, along with good attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 1 year of quality control or quality assurance in manufacturing, or a biology/chemistry degree.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to solve problems.
• Stable work history and able to pass background and drug screening.
• Ability to stand entire shift and lift 35+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality and food safety throughout production.
• Record inspections accurately and document findings.
• Watch critical control points and respond to quality concerns.
• Perform sanitation inspections and verification activities.
• Check labels, date codes, fill levels, and packaging for accuracy.
• Inspect raw materials and finished goods for quality compliance.
• Collect production samples and keep organized records.
• Collaborate with production teams to maintain standards.
• Investigate quality issues and assist with corrective actions.

Pay & Schedule

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM | $22.00/hr
• Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM | $23.00/hr
• 12-hour shifts on a rotating 2/2/3 schedule
• Consistent full-time hours

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality and food safety standards throughout production
• Conduct quality inspections and document findings accurately
• Monitor critical control points and respond to quality concerns
• Perform sanitation inspections and verification activities
• Ensure accuracy of labels, date codes, fill levels, and packaging
• Inspect raw materials and finished goods for quality compliance
• Collect and organize production samples and records
• Work closely with production and operations teams to maintain quality standards
• Investigate quality issues and assist with corrective actions

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment OR
• Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Stable and reliable work history
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Must be able to stand for the entire shift
• Ability to lift 35+ lbs as needed
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and maintain accurate documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing quality environments
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, SQF, or other quality systems
• Experience performing product inspections and quality documentation
