Job summary

Aquatech Hartland, WI is seeking a full-time Applications Engineer to design and specify processes using evaporation and crystallization technologies. You will prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, and support client meetings as a technical expert.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering or related field, strong Excel/Office skills, and solid communication ability. The position is based in Hartland, WI, with standard daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand and define key process performance needs.
• Develop process designs incorporating evaporation and crystallization technology.
• Author technical proposals that clearly communicate value propositions and define process performance.
• Prepare cost estimates for proposed equipment scope.
• Participate in client meetings with the sales team as a technical expert.
• Create and deliver technical content to support business development.
• Participate in pilot testing programs for process validation.
• Complete engineering activities: heat and material balances, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing, and layouts.
• Collaborate with engineering teams during project execution, procurement and start-up.
