Trane Technologies is seeking an Intelligent Services Account Engineer (ISAE) to combine deep energy engineering expertise with client-facing advisory skills. You will transform data into actionable insights, deliver energy reduction projects, and support sales teams to grow pull-through business across assigned accounts.

The role emphasizes on-site site visits, data-driven reports, and coordination with contract management to optimize facilities and achieve measurable savings for clients.

Formación

• Engineering degree or 1+ year HVAC project management/estimating experience.
• Candidates without a 4-year degree encouraged to apply; focus on practical experience.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems, BAS and temperature controls.
• Experience with construction/renovation projects and service project management preferred.
• Windows OS and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Experience with drafting/design programs.
• Understanding IT infrastructure and network architecture.
• Willingness to travel to construction sites within the district.

What's in it for you:

The Intelligent Services Account Engineer (ISAE) has the deep technical expertise of an Energy Engineer and the interpersonal skills of an Account Manager. He or she is an expert at converting data into actionable insight and utilizing that data to deliver results for the client as a trusted advisor. Duties include routine on-going consultative services that help our clients continuously optimize their facilities and fulfill their mission more efficiently. Beyond the development and delivery of consultation reports, the Intelligent Services Account Engineer is responsible for energy project development, retro-commissioning, contract management support, and continuously assisting the sales teams with securing a larger share of assigned clients’ business, earning them as customers for life. Success in this role is measured by assigned accounts’ energy reduction delivered to clients, and the amount of pull-through business delivered to Trane.

What you will do:

• Gathering all pertinent data, trends and charts to develop customer facing documentation.


• Work with customers and internal stake holders to help identify/develop a site’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)


• Diagnose energy opportunities with customer’s facilities and provide energy projects that solve customer issues/opportunities


• Aid in the acquisition of pull through work and assist in meeting or exceeding the customer’s goals


• Perform remote site analysis via web access as needed.


• Lead regular Technical Strategy Review meetings for each Intelligent Service Agreement customer in their portfolio.


• Assist withtransition/onboardingof new contracts and support of existing contract execution management

What you will bring:

• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction or Engineering Technology, or other related areas; or three (1) plus years of experience in the HVAC industry performing project management or estimating roles; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.


• Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles.


• Familiarity with operation and design of HVAC Systems, Building Automation Systems, and/or Temperature Controls required.


• Familiarity with the concepts of new construction and renovation/retrofit, performance contracting, and service project management preferred.


• Windows operating system and Microsoft Office product knowledge.


• Experience with a drafting/ design program is required.


• Understanding of industry standard protocol and requirements for integration preferred.


• Understanding of IT infrastructure and network architecture


• Some travel to construction sites within the district to determine controls solutions.


• Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: : DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:

$52,300.00 - $107,400.00
