Job summary

Braun Ambulances in Van Wert, Ohio seeks an Applications Engineer (1st shift). You will review work orders, clarify feature options, and support customer/dealer order processing. Create and review proposal and order drawings.

Qualifications

• Create and edit proposal, bid and order drawings to support sales and production; modify line drawings for change orders as needed.
• Research previous vehicle purchases to compare orders and guide dealers on options and layouts.
• Assist in quoting material and labor pricing; provide information to pricing and engineering teams.
• Participate in team decisions on product line additions/deletions and SCR development; contribute to future direction.

Research previous vehicle purchases for matching information and comparisons

Compare new orders to previous orders to help guide dealers on options/custom layouts to use on current trucks. When custom requests/layouts are requested, research previous trucks to know what we have done before and to provide known possibilities to Dealers.

Knowledge of Bill of Materials and Routings

Understand the Bill of Materials and Routings in each truck model. Understand when changes are made, what this all affects on the entire truck.

Demonstrate an understanding of the Bill of Materials and Routings and how they play into the build of the truck.

Technical Skills/Competencies (technical knowledge, education and experience)
